BBQ CHICKPEA PIZZA

Ingredients

  • 1 pack whole wheat pizza dough
  • 1 cup of barbecue sauce
  • 2 cups chickpeas
  • 1 red onion minced
  • 1 cup of grated mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat to 200 degrees and roll out to about 8 by 10 rectangles.
  • Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Combine the chickpeas, onions, and BBQ sauce in a bowl.
  • Mix until chickpeas are covered.
  • Spread mixture over dough and top with grated cheese.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, then top with chopped basil before serving.
